Virtual Gifts - Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to receive my gift(s)?

Physical cards are typically posted 1-2 working days of your order and should arrive within 2-3 business days, or instantly when you opt to send an e-card.

Please note the cut off date for placing orders for Christmas for physical cards is 9th December.

Do you send postal cards outside of the UK?

Regretfully we cannot send postal cards outside of the UK. The e-card is the only available option.

Where does the money go?

Your gift will go towards one of our programmes - education, health and humanitarian relief.

If I buy a bag of rice, will a family definitely get a bag of rice?

Yes, your money would go into the livelihoods programme and in most circumstances a family would get a bag of rice. However, sometimes a family needs medicines or shelter more than they need a bag of rice. In that case, we would put your money towards providing that instead. Whatever you choose, we promise your money will go into the relevant programme.

What will my friends or family get?

If you purchase a gift for a friend or relative, you can choose to send them either an e-card or postal card. This is how they work:

 - If you choose to send them an e-card, they will receive an e-mail telling them how to view it. The e-card can be personalised with your own message and will include information about the gift itself.

 - If you'd prefer, you can give them a real card instead. We'll post you the blank gift card, which you can then personalise with your own greeting and send on to your friend or relative.

Do you send the items from the UK?

No, all the items listed are purchased by our Health & Hope Myanmar teams.
