Supporting the work of Health & Hope UK

By supporting Health & Hope UK's work, you will bring hope to some of the poorest and most remote communities in western Myanmar.

UK Donations

You can give a single or regular donation to Health & Hope UK through our website by debit / credit card or Direct Debit. However, there are also a number of other ways you can give to us:

  • Bank transfer using online, phone or mobile banking. Please use the bank details below.
  • Standing Orders can be set up directly with your bank through branch, online, phone or mobile banking. Please use the bank details below and contact us for our giving form to let us know of your gift.
  • By cheque making cheques payable to Health and Hope UK and sending them to: Health & Hope UK, 27 Old Gloucester Street, Holborn, London, WC1N 3AX.
  • We also accept donations through CAF and Stewardship.
  • You may also choose to fundraise for us or leave a gift to us in your Will.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer, Health & Hope UK can reclaim the tax you’ve paid on your gift, increasing the value of your donation by 25%. At no extra cost to you, Health & Hope can claim this money from the Government from the basic tax that has already been paid on your donation. The money that we claim back from HMRC as part of the Gift Aid scheme will be treated as unrestricted funds and used to support all our work, even if your original donation was made towards a specific project.

In order to be able to claim Gift Aid on your donation, please complete this Gift Aid Declaration form. 

 

Appeals

In the event that funds raised by a specific appeal exceed the amount required then we usually scale up our activity or will otherwise use the donation in similar areas of need. If insufficient funds are raised to carry out any activities described in an appeal, the donations will be used to support related projects with similar objectives.

Based outside the UK?

Giving from the USA

If you are based in the USA  you can support the work of Health & Hope UK through a one-off donation in USD via our website. However, as we are a UK registered charity, donations via our website are not eligible for tax relief in the US.

If you are based in Jersey in the Channel Islands for tax efficient giving, we are grateful for the ongoing support of Jersey Evangelical Trust who will process your donation on Health & Hope UK's behalf.
