Home Based Clinic
The Health team provides medical treatment and consultations to patients, supports emergency referral assistance, delivers inpatient care, and conducts home visits to patients requiring additional medical attention and follow-up care. Through the home based clinic the team also provides essential medicines and medical supplies and training to health workers in refugee camps.
Through close monitoring by Health Workers (HWs) trained by HHM, the team identifies serious challenges, including shortages of essential medicines and a need for referral support funds. Where this occurs essential medicines are distributed subject to available funding to HWs in refugee camps, helping them provide timely and lifesaving care to those most in need.
